Hello all! My name is Betty and I've finally arrived here at Fortune City. I'm sorry that it's taken me so long, but I have been working on a number of other web projects which have taken more time than I had anticipated.
As with my other sites, I expect that this one will take some time to build also. To speed the process along, I am providing links below to some of my AOL pages as well as the link to, drum roll please, my new web design company, Logic Management Web Services Co. In the meantime, let me tell you a little about myself.
I live approximately 25 miles north of NYC in Westchester County, NY. I am employed as the Sales and Marketing Coordinator of a subsidiary of an international lighting manufacturer.
My hobbies and interests include:
- Reading, logic problems, travel, museums
- Web page design, counted cross-stitch
Dream: To win the lottery (I didn't win the lottery) and start my own business (see below) in web page design.
Here are a few of my favorite things:
- Color: Blue
- Food: Italian and Mexican
- Movie: Miracle on 34th Street, 1947 B/W version
- Music: disco, New Age
- Play: Brigadoon
- Vacation spot: Hawaii
On the other side of the fence, here are a couple of my pet peeves:
- People with a captious nature. Captious - apt to notice and make much of trivial faults or defects; fault finding; difficult to please.
- Drivers who cut you off so short that you must slam on your brakes to avoid their hitting you in the front fender as they pull you into your lane.
